NaNoWriMo in Library West - "The Big Event" - Tuesday, November 15

GUEST AUTHORS

We’ve got three authors lined up that evening to offer writing advice and encouragement as well as to answer questions. One in person and two by chat.

  • Lee Roland:  5:45pm – 6:15pm (in person)
     
  • Eleanor Brown:  7:00pm – 7:30pm (via chat)
     
  • Gail Carriger: 8:30pm – 9:00pm (via chat)

             
 

GAMES/PRIZES/REFRESHMENTS

WORD WAR CONTESTS + PRIZES

We will hold 3 “word war” contests throughout the evening.  The participant who writes the most number of words in a set amount of time (usually 15-20 minutes) wins a book written by one of the three guest authors.


OTHER FUN

There will be other fun giveaways, a display of Library West's resouces on writing, light refreshments for participants, and the Idea Jar will once again be on hand to help participants combat writer's block.
