Resources to help UF Libraries liaisons in their instruction and outreach

Library Instruction Guides

For all the information you need to begin providing library instruction, please see the Library Instruction Guide at: http://guides.uflib.ufl.edu/instruction.

For much information on adult learning, teaching, instructional design, and help with creating reusable learning objects (RLOs), see the Instructional Design and Training Guide and also contact the Smathers Libraries Instructional Design Consultant.

Customized Library Instruction

There is a subject librarian for every subject taught at UF.  Please contact your library liaison for personalized subject-specific research instruction:   http://apps.uflib.ufl.edu/staffdir/SubjectSpecialist.aspx

Here are a few brochures that you may find useful.  Request batch printing through Barbara Hood.  Find these and additional instructional tools and how-to help on the guide for library instruction.

Library Workshops & News

RefWorks has updated its look and functions!  Attend a RefWorks workshop to learn about the new changes.

Visit the UF Libraries' homepage for the current workshop schedule and for more "News & Highlights" about exhibits, resources for current events, and other services.

UBorrow

UBorrow is a brand new service brought to you by the State University Libraries of Florida.  Can't find a book or a particular edition in the UF Libraries' catalog?  Click on UBorrow to borrow it from another university in Florida.  Please note:  distance learners need to use ILL instead of UBorrow.
