Literacy Labs

Do you suffer from Information Overload?

Literacy Labs are designed to challenge you to overcome information overload by using free, web-based tools that allow you to think creatively about information sources.

Literacy Lab examples include:

  • Library Landscape (create an old fashioned card catalog that explores resources for your research topic)
  • Research Map (use an online tool to create a map charting the research process)
  • Found in Translation (put your research principles to purpose!)
  • Shoulders of Giants (create an infogram of the top information, researchers, and institutions in your field)
