The Stodocs Project was a major initiative, launched in 2009, to catalog 300,000 items for pre-1976 federal government documents held in the Auxiliary Library Facility (ALF).  In April 2014, the Shared Collections Cataloging Unit (now the Government Documents Cataloging Unit) was created to catalog contributions to the Florida Academic Repository (FLARE), which includes federal government documents.  In April 2014, approximately 640,000 federal government documents were transferred from campus to the Auxiliary Library Facility (ALF).
