Fregly Symposium CoLab

Film Screening

The symposium will include a screening of the film Jezebel.  Much of the 1938 film, starring Bette Davis and Henry Fonda, takes place in New Orleans during a yellow fever epidemic in the 1850s.  A discussion on race, film, and disease will follow the screening.
