This guide serves as a resource site for materials concerning health humanities, and nature therapy

What is this class?

 

This class is an introduction for first and second year medical students to the health humanities, with a particular focus on the importance of narrative- the study of narrative, and the application of narrative- to the practice of medicine.  It also explores the ways in which health humanities are used to enhance clinical skills, and how arts can be used in healing.  There is opportunity for discussion and individual exploration and also some lecture.  There also is the opportunity to explore personal interests in the field and reflect on how understanding of humanities informs inidividual medical practice..
