Arranging to use a teaching space

The following classrooms may be reserved by an Outlook Calendar invitation.  Invite them using the following names:

Library West Room 211 : lib-conf-west-211

Library West Room 212: lib-conf-west-212

Marston Science Library Room 308: lib-conf-msl-308

If your presentation requires special software, please notify the instruction coordinator for the library where you'll be teaching to have the software installed.  Please allow two weeks notice.

Marston Science Library Room L136

Reservations must be submitted at least 7 days in advance.  If you need the room sooner, please contact your liaison librarian.

Please use the following form to request use of the Conference and Visualization Room. You may expect a reply within 24 business hours (M-F).

  • Seats 30 
  • Podium computer interacts with both large-screen TVs
  • Chalkboard
  • Three computer work stations, one of which communicates with the large touch screen TV

Marston Science Library Room 136, Conference/Visualization Lecture Classroom

  • Instructor computer at podium
  • 35 seats, but can accomodate up to 60
  • Projector
  • videoconferencing
  • Data vizualization wall

  • 22 student computers

Before you tell a professor "Yes, bring your class on such-and-such day," it's crucial to find out if the classroom is available.   Check availability by "inviting" the room to a meeting using your Outlook calendar or by submitting a request.  For assistance, contact the appropriate Library Instruction Coordinator (listed at the left.)
