PDA Resources
The UF College of Nursing has arranged for faculty and students to purchase PDA software at a 25% discount.
There are more than 500 medical resources available.
The PDA’s supported by Skyscape include Palm; Windows Mobile based Pocket PC’s and Smart-phones; BlackBerry; Nokia and other phones using Symbian. Most of the medical references are accessible from iPhone/iPod-Touch.

Computer Use: Computers are available in the library for your use. A GatorLink account is required for login. Computers are equipped with Office 2003, Media Player, Internet browsers, and Acrobat Reader.
Document Delivery and Interlibrary Loan: The library makes every attempt to locate and borrow materials for study, research, or teaching. The charge for this service is $5.00 per item.
There are two ways of submitting requests:
Document Delivery Form: Order books, articles etc. not owned by the HSC Library.
Loansome Doc: Order full-text copies of articles directly from PubMed.

Photocopying: Self-service photocopiers are available in the library. Copies cost $.13 per page. Photocopy cards may be purchased from a vending machine next to the photocopiers. There is a one-time cost of $.35 for each card. Card holders can add value to the card at the vending machine. The vending maching will accept $1, $5, $10 and $20 bills.
Reference Services: The reference desk is staffed Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM until 5:00 PM

Remote Access to Resources: It is possible to access to most HSC library resources from off campus. Access is allowed based up IP address rather than user names and passwords. To access HSC Library use either the Ez-Proxy or the VPN.
