Off-Campus Access
All of the databases described on this site (other than free internet sites) require you to be logged into the UF network to get access. You can do this when you are not on campus by using the VPN or the Proxy Server.
VPN. (Virtual Private Network) Click the link above to download the VPN software for your operating system. The entire process usually takes 5 minutes or less. After the software is installed, click Connect, log in using your Gatorlink account, then start your research.
Proxy Server. If you are using a computer at which you cannot download the VPN, use the Proxy Server instead. Make sure to read the instructions for remaining logged in -- it is very easy to get disconnected when using the proxy server.
