Library Information for Oak Hammock Residents: Home

The George A. Smathers Libraries at the University of Florida fully supports Oak Hammock and its residents as they pursue the stated goal of lifelong learning. The library offers a variety of services to Oak Hammock residents; some of these services include library privileges, interlibrary loan services, off-campus access to electronic resources offered by the Library, and reference services.  As a representative of the libraries, I am available for assistance by email or telephone. As a rule, I am at Oak Hammock in person on the last Friday of each month- if you have any questions or would like assistance, please come and see me. 

This library guide is designed to give Oak Hammock residents a resource to refer to for basic library information, and is divided into the following sections: 

1. Getting Started: this is where residents can find basic information on how to set up their library accounts, set passwords, and links to online forms .
2. Visual Guides: This page offers files on the quickest way to get started using some of the library's resources.  I will be adding to this page regularly; please contact me if there are any suggestions for future quickstart guides. 
3. Interlibrary Loan Information: In this section is the link to a PDF with information on the Interlibrary Loan service for Oak Hammock residents. 
4. Technical Information: How to guides for downloading, installing and using the UF VPN client (for Mac and Windows users) and the Duo authentication client.
