Full-Text Access

Remember, for remote access to all UF electronic resources use the VPN software or the Proxy Server.

Some databases, journals and resources are free for anyone to access and some are only accessible to UF affiliates through the libraries' subscription. To access subscription resources while off campus, you must be logged in to the VPN or the proxy service.

Access to electronic resources should be seamless from any UF networked computer. Note that some computers in Shands may require remote access.

Eligibility for access: UF students/faculty/staff members with current, valid UF ID/Gator1 Card.

Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature (CINAHL) is the authortitative index for nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, nutrition and dietetics, and other health professions.
Cochrane Library This link opens in a new window
Evidence-based medicine and the only source for full text of Cochrane groups' systematic reviews. Searches Cochrane group reviews, reviews from other entities and two unique sections, Technology Assessments and Economic Evaluations.

Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Clinical Topics

The American Speech-Language Hearing Association has created Evidence Maps. These Evidence Maps are "designed to assist clinicians with making evidence-based decisions." (ASHA, 2023). The goal of these maps are to help clinicians stay up to date on related speech-language pathology and audiology topics.
