Library Resource and Research Guide

About this guide

This guide is for all undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, and staff who are studying or conducting research in Astronomy and are looking for resources from Marston Science Library. Here, you will find links to databases, journals, and other UF Libraries resources within Astronomy and its related subjects. You can also find information on using the library spaces for studying, leisure, or relaxation. If you are new to UF or libraries in general, welcome! Hopefully this guide can act as a roadmap on your research and learning journey.

As your Astronomy Librarian, I can help you with many things:

  • Locating books, journals, articles, and other physical or electronic resources
  • Getting started with your research: research questions, keyword and concept development, choosing the right database, etc.
  • Library and information discovery lessons, either one-on-one or to a class
  • Literature reviews
  • Acquiring books or journals for the library collection that will make your research more efficient
  • Citation management
  • And a lot more!

Book a time to meet with me for one-on-one help!
