Help With Citation Styles

The instructions for authors provided on journal websites typically specifiy which citation style should be used. If you have questions, please contact your liaison librarian.
 
The National Library of Medicine (NLM) guide to proper citation formats for medical and scientific materials.
 
The ICMJE Uniform Requirements are followed by many biomedical and scientific journals, including the New England Journal of Medicine.
 
The American Medical Association citation style is used by many journals, including JAMA.  To access the book online, click the "Contents" tab on the left-hand side of the blue bar.
