The Latin American and Caribbean Collection at UF

The Latin American and Caribbean Collection (LACC) at UF is one of three academic libraries in the U.S. with a dedicated space to Latin American material. Unlike the other two (the Latin American Library at Tulane University and the Nettie Lee Benson Library at UT Austin), we specialize on the Caribbean.

LACC is constituted by a circulating collection, which covers all of Latin America and the Caribbean and a special collection, which focuses on the circum-Caribbean, Brazil, the Panama Canal, and other regions.

LACC is located in the 3rd floor of the Smathers Library.
