  • Disaster and Emergency Plan Committee: The DEPC consists of staff responsible for the overall safety and security of the buildings, people, computers and collections of the Library before, during and after a hurricane. See the DEPC CHECKLIST linked below.
  • Library Building Emergency Coordinators: The LBEC's are staff members responsible for the safety and security of the people, computers and collections of the Library before, during and after a hurricane within a particular building

Workstations

  • Save your existing work on your workstation and log out of your computer. If a power outage happens, you may lose any work that has not been saved.
  • Turn off printers, fax machines, scanners, or other electronic devices plugged into an electrical outlet.
  • Once the weather event is over, you may log into your workstations and turn on your other devices.
