You can use the Interlibrary Loan (ILL) service to request books or journal articles that the UF Libraries do not own. Once you create an account and submit a request, the ILL office will contact other borrowing libraries around the world to request your book or article. Journal articles are normally sent electronically and books can be picked up at the Circulation Desk on the second floor of Library West. This service is free for all UF faculty and students.
To do a broad search that includes monographs, articles, dissertations, and other secondary source materials, you can use the Primo Search tool. This will search a combination of materials owned by UF and materials available through our database subscriptions.
To do a more focused search of electronic materials, you can search individual databases. You can access these by searching the A-Z Databases list.
