Welcome! My name is Angie Price (she/her) and I am the biological & life sciences librarian at Marston Science Library. I came to UF in 2023 to share my passion for biology and libraries, and I am here to help students with both.
This guide contains recommendations and resources for information and research in the biological & life sciences, as well as information on using the libraries, improving your researching skills, and helping you with assignments, projects, and interests. Gideon: One-stop resource for data on Infectious Disease – for research, education and diagnostics. Increase accuracy, consistency, and efficiency in your work. GIDEON is a user-friendly application for diagnosing diseases, identifying pathogens, and research.
GIDEON is for anyone with a professional interest in Infectious Diseases and Microbiology. It is ideally suited for saving time in Point-of-Care settings while empowering clinicians to consider all possible scenarios. Additionally, it is an excellent teaching tool for Biology, Microbiology, Public Health, and Medical students and Residents.
JoVE (Journal of Visualized Experiments) is a scientific, peer-reviewed, multi-disciplinary video journal. Articles include text description and video demonstration of experiments. JoVE also publishes educational and instructional videos for use in the classroom and lab. Indexed in PubMed and Web of Science.
