Locating Literature on Health Sciences

PubMed comprises more than 20 million citations for biomedical literature from MEDLINE, life science journals, and online books. Citations may include links to full-text content from PubMed Central and publisher web sites

Bookshelf part of the National Library of Medicine, provides free online access to books and documents in life science and healthcare

Web of Science includes the Science Citation Index, the Social Science Citation Index, and the Arts & Humanities Index

Scopus is a multidisciplinary abstract and citation database. In addition to records of over 84 million scholarly publications, it also includes author and institutional profiles.

Embase Major biomedical literature database, with a particular focus on international coverage. Additional focus also given to chemicals and drugs. Features a Medical Device search.

Cochrane Library contains high-quality, independent evidence to inform healthcare decision-making
