Suggesting an opportunity for the Libraries Training Program
Please route your request through your Chair to assess the relevance and strategic need within the Libraries. The Chair must first approve that anyone in our libraries can attend the session you are requesting. If supported, forward the information to the Training Program email (lib_training_program@uflib.ufl.edu) so we can register and offer a session for group viewing. To encourage dialog and sharing of best practices with our colleagues, group viewing is the Libraries' preferred venue for training. Managing these opportunities through the Libraries’ Training Program provides for registration, reminders, and post-event evaluations of the training. Employees can also download their training records when preparing activity reports during the annual evaluation process.
Please recall that staff training participation is at the supervisor’s discretion.
