Faculty, staff, and students of UFHSC/Jacksonville, UFHealth at Jacksonville, and other library health affiliates have borrowing privileges at the Borland Library. A Gator-1 ID card or a Borland library card is used to circulate books, and your identity and eligibility must be verified for other library services such as Interlibrary Loan, Request-A-Copy, and Printing/Copying, etc.

Library Collection
The library provides access to print and electronic materials in the biomedical sciences, including books, journals, and other media. Complemented by ready access to the University of Florida Health Science Center Libraries, these materials support the education, research, training and clinical needs of the HSC colleges, centers and institutes, the University of Florida and the state.
On-Campus Access to Library Resources
Borland Library in Jacksonville has seating and study space, public computers, free wireless access and a house phone. The Library is staffed during posted hours of operation.
Off-Campus Access to Library Resources
Remote Access is available to University of Florida faculty, staff and students with a GatorLink Account. Directions for accessing the library remotely using VPN (preferred) or proxy are here.
Borland Library staff are here to support your clinical, research, and teaching information needs by helping you locate quality, up-to-date information. Referrals to other information sources, both local and national, can be made. Ask at the Reference/Circulation desk, by phone, fax, or e-mail.
