TPP 2110L: Finding Argument Sources

Argument Sources

Argument Sources contain the scholarly conversation surrounding your topic.  They feature analysis and interpretation of evidence.  In some argument sources, the author is responding to the analysis and interpretation of others.  Scholarly sources include scholarly articles, scholarly books, critical reviews, and editorials.

Primo

A great place to start searcing is the Primo Search Tool.  This tool searches across many of our resources, including our library catalog.  You can use it to quickly find books, audio, video, and research articles.

However, it does not search across all databases that we subscribe to so it is always a good idea to search is subject specific databases as well.
