...a guide to basic research resources in geography and geographic information sciences and technologies.

Welcome to Spatial Information Services

Spatial Information Services

GIS and Remote Sensing at the University of Florida are integrated into many academic departments and research efforts. In support of our patrons and the University's programs, the library offers free GIS and Remote Sensing consulting services.

The GIS Librarian is available to consult with faculty, staff and students on all aspects of spatially referenced data and GIS software. The librarian can also provide specialized GIS lectures, and related web pages.

Aerial Photography of Florida

The online Aerial Photography: Florida collection at UF can be used to access and download aerial photographs from the library's extensive collection. The years available vary by county but extend from 1937 thru 1970 (1971 thru 1990 will be available soon).
