Google Tips


In Google Scholar, click "Related articles" or "Cited by" to see closely related work, or search for author's name and see what else they have written. If UF has a subscription to the journal, click on Find it@UF or click on the title to open up the full text.  If unsuccessful, try searching for the item in the library catalog.  Google Scholar contains both peer-reviewed and "grey" literature (non-refereed).


Theses & Dissertations

A great source for specific research are theses and dissertations.  The libraries host UF theses and dissertations in the institutional repository where they are easily searched by topic or department.  Find electronic theses & dissertations from UF & other schools here.
