Arts in Medicine: Get Started

Welcome!

As students in Arts in Medicine courses, you have access to a variety of library resources and services that will assist you with your research and practice. For the convenience of distance students, many of the resources listed on this guide are fully accessible online. (Your professors may also post electronic course material on the library's course reserve system). However, print resources may be shipped to you free of charge through the library's interlibrary loan service.  Because of the interdisciplinary nature of Arts in Medicine, this guide contains a mixture of resources in psychology, medicine, fine arts, and related fields.

It is important to remember that to access databases and online journals from off-campus, you must first log into the proxy server or the Virtual Private Network (VPN). The VPN is recommended as it provides the smoothest access. This website will show you how: (https://uflib.ufl.edu/using-the-libraries/off-campus-access/)
