Samuel Proctor Oral History Program

The award-winning Samuel Proctor Oral History Program at the University of Florida was founded in 1967. Since then, SPOHP has collected more than 8,000 interviews and over 150,000 pages of transcribed material. SPOHP's team of student researchers, interns, volunteers, and staff are dedicated to gathering, preserving, and promoting the living histories of individuals from all walks of life.
Many SPOHP interviews are available online through UF Digital Collection (UFDC). See the SPOHP Digital Archive tab for more information on the Program's online collections and materials.
