Guest access to CAS SciFindern

Guests who are not affiliated with UF are able to access CAS SciFindern in person at the Marston Science Library. Our license specifies that guest access is for educational research (non-commercial) only.

Before we are able to log you into SciFinder, you will need to provide a photo ID and sign a user agreement which states the following:

  • I will use SciFindern ONLY for my own academic research. I will not use SciFindern for commercial research.
  • I will not use an automated script.
  • I may store no more than 5,000 records in electronic form at any one time.
  • I understand that violations of these terms may result in the University of Florida losing SciFindern access.

Guest access to SciFindern at Marston Science Library is available Monday-Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm (excluding library closures). We recommend that you email Michelle Nolan (michellenolan@ufl.edu) in advance so that we can prepare for your visit.
