ICPSR: Inter-University Consortium for Political & Social Research
UF is a member institution and provides access to a data archive of more than 500,000 files of research in the social sciences.
The Dataverse Project
An open source web application to share, preserve, cite, explore and analyze research data from multiple sources. A collaboration with Harvard Library, Harvard University IT, and IQSS.
Population Reference Bureau (PRB)
Provides information about populations worldwide with data sheets, a graphics bank, and more. The "core themes" are: Reproductive Health and Fertility; Children and Families; Population and the Environment; and Population Futures—Aging, Inequality and Poverty, Migration and Urbanization, and Gender.
OECD iLibrary
The online library of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development. Available through UF Libraries. Books, journals, working papers, and more are available on topics such as the general economy, statistics, and agriculture.
Roper Center Public Opinion Archives
This searchable archive preserves the data from public opinion polls conducted by many leading survey organizations (such as the Pew Research Center and the Gallup Organization) for the use of researchers, students, and journalists.

American Fact Finder
The distribution center for U.S. Census Bureau data. Data from the Census, the American Community Survey, annual population estimates, and economic surveys are available.
American Time Use Survey (ATUS)
This survey by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics shows the amount of time Americans spend on various activities (ex. watching TV, working in the yard, etc.). Tables and charts can be searched by demographic characteristic or activity.
Statistical Abstracts of the United States
Summarizes statistics on the social, political, and economic organization of the United States. Sources of data include the Census Bureau, Bureau of Labor Statistics, and Bureau of Economic Analysis.
The World Factbook
Published by the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). Provides vital statistics (ex. history, government, economy) for 266 world entities.
Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse (TRAC)
This organization at Syracuse University gathers information about the staffing, spending, and enforcement activities of several federal agencies including ATF, IRS, DEA, and FBI.

Association of Religion Data Archives
Free access to data on religion in the U.S. and around the world “submitted by the foremost religion scholars and research centers in the world.” Includes data sets, profiles of countries and denominations, reports, and maps.
Mexican Migration Project (U.S.A)
Annual survey data since 1982 for study of Mexican Migration to the United States. Provided by the Office of Population Research at Princeton University. Access is free, but users must register.
National Archive of Computerized Data on Aging (NACDA)
This is the largest library of electronic data on aging in the United States. Funded by the National Institute on Aging.
Pew Research Center: Internet & Technology
Surveys examine the impact of the Internet on the lives of Americans. Survey data and trend reports are available.
STATS: We Check Out the Numbers Behind the News
This non-profit organization works to clarify the claims made in the media about social issues. The main audience is journalists who write about social issues. Provides in-depth analyses, articles, and resource links.
Wisconsin Longitudinal Study
The WLS is a 45 year-old study of the social and economic life course among 10,000 men and women who graduated from Wisconsin high schools in 1957, and who have been followed up at ages 25, 36, and 53-54. Access is free, but users must register.
Panel Study of Income Dynamics (PSID)
PSID is the longest running longitudinal household survey in the world. Information on 18,000 individuals and their descendants has been collected continuously since 1968. Topics include employment, income, wealth, expenditures, health, marriage, childbearing, child development, philanthropy, education, and numerous other topics.

EDR Population & Demographics
From the Office of Economic and Demographic Research of the Florida Legislature. Includes population overviews, census data, and poverty guidelines.
Florida Department of Elder Affairs
Provides statistics and reports on the state of senior citizens in Florida, including profiles for each of Florida's 67 counties.
Florida Statistical Abstract
NOW ONLINE! Created by the Bureau of Economic and Business Research (BEBR) at UF. Find data on Florida and its cities and counties in the areas of population, housing, employment, income, education, health, tourism, elections, and more. Data is available from 1967-present.
Bureau of Economic and Business Research (BEBR)
BEBR collects, analyzes and generates economic and demographic data on Florida and its local areas. Find free online reports from 1979-present on Florida-related topics (ex. price level index, migration flows, disability perceptions, etc.)
