NOTCHES is an international blog that encourages discussions about sexuality across time periods.  It aims to engage both academic and non-academic audiences. Launched in January 2014, NOTCHES has garnered over 1.5 million views and received recognition from various platforms. Sponsored by the Goldsmiths Centre for Queer History, NOTCHES seeks to make histories of sex and sexualities accessible to diverse audiences. Contributors explore a wide range of topics related to human sexual experience, reflecting the richness of historical research. NOTCHES features original blogs, Archives of Desire (interpreting primary sources), and Author Interviews with historians and authors in the field of sexuality studies.
