Resources for ELI Students: Gainesville Community Resources

The Gainesville community offers a variety of services for learners of English as a second language. These services are open to the general public. Please note that we are not endorsing any program or group by including them in this list, and that in some cases these agencies may have a requirements or charges for thse services. 

• Basic ESOL Literacy Programs at the Alachua Country Library: Contact and program information on ESOL programs offered by the Alachua County Library System. 
• Alachua County Public Schools ESOL Programs :Registration and contact information for classes offered by the Alachua County school system. 
• Christian Campus House English Corner: Information on conversational English classes conducted by the Christian campus house. 
• International Friendship at UF: Information on speaking classes held weekly by the International Friendship group at the Baptist Student Union.
