EUH/LAH4930: The Spanish Inquisition

Relevant Departments and Centers at UF

The Department of Spanish and Portuguese Studies endeavors to achieve excellence in research, teaching and public service related to the languages, literatures, and cultures of the areas and countries where Spanish and Portuguese are spoken.

The Center for European Studies (CES) fosters rich, culturally academic environments including language and area studies courses, degree options and study abroad opportunities. Courses have two foci: Western European and EU studies, as well as on Europe’s periphery with Modern Greek, Polish, Hungarian, and Czech language and Romanian and Bulgarian area studies courses.

The Center for Latin American Studies' (LATAM) mission is to advance knowledge about Latin America and the Caribbean and its peoples throughout the Hemisphere, and to enhance the scope and quality of research, teaching, and outreach in Latin American, Caribbean and Latino Studies at the University of Florida.

Hispanic-Latino Affairs (HLA) aims to support, empower and advance the Hispanic-Latino/a community at the University of Florida. By offering culturally and historically relevant programming and initiatives, as well as spaces, which welcome all forms of Latinidad and the broader community, HLA educates and forges solidarity between the Hispanic-Latino/a community and its allies.
