ASERL Documents Disposition Database: Home Screen after Sign-On

A short guide to using this tool

Description

The Home page of the Disposition Database is displayed upon signing into the application.

There is a menu-style navigation section located at the top of the page.

The menu names are:

  • Home (link to the Home page)
  • Items (add/edit, claim, delete, search offers)
  • Needs (add/edit, delete, search needs)
  • Reports (for Regional libraries, and libraries with OCLC Symbol code)
  • Help (view LibGuide)

In the center of the page are five “Summary Sections” with summary totals and access buttons.  These sections give you an access point to go directly to the associated page for the claiming and management of offered items, and managing your library’s needs specifications.  The sections are described in more detail on subsequent pages.

The “Summary Sections" are:

  • Search Offers (search all available offers)
  • Matching Needs (search offers that match needs)
  • My Submitted Items (manage submitted offers)
  • My Claims (view claimed offers)
  • My Needs (manage needs)

On the right, there is a menu with the name of your institution and depository library number.

Click on your institution's name to see sub menus:

  • Contact Info (update your contact info)
  • Log Off (sign off application)
