Join the UF Libraries and Friends as we welcome Native American Heritage Month with an Indigenous Dance performance and Beading Workshop provided by Native Insights.
What: Indigenous Dance performance and Beading Workshop, with information tables featuring UF Libraries Special and Area Studies, American Indian and Indigenous Studies, Gator Chapter of the American Indian Science and Engineering Society, Center for the Arts, Migration, and Entrepreneurship, and the Department of Anthropology.
Where: Smathers Library, Room 100
When: Doors open at 10:30 am, light refreshments will be served. Dance performance from 11-12pm and Beading workshop from 12-1pm
Starting November 1st, visit the New Books Wall in Library West to browse some of the latest Indigenous and Native American collections. This year we have added eBooks, streaming video, tabletop games, and more! You can also check out this Primo Collection for Native American Heritage Month to find more great reads.
