Course Reserves for George A. Smathers Libraries: Where are the Course Reserves Items?

Spring 2022

Physical copies of books and DVD's are behind the Circulation Desk at each library branch. Please have your Course Number and Instructor's Name so circulation staff can locate the item for you.

Note: Please confirm which branch your instructor has placed the hard copies of the items.

Where are the Course Reserves Items?

 

Search the Library Catalog - the result will confirm which instructor(s) has reserved the item. 

Make sure you have created an Ares account.

Check Ares for your course list of reserves.

Access through Canvas
In your Canvas portal/dashboard, click the Course Reserves link on the left and it should take you to the Ares landing page.
Your Ares account should already be active when accessing through Canvas.

Electronic reserves can be accessed with the link provided in the My Courses list (View Item).

Distance learning students or online students need to access the resources using the UF VPN client or the UF Proxy Server; for more information on the Off Campus Access
