This section does not discuss the security and safety of employees--this information is found in the libraries' Disaster Plan. This section is only discussing issues of theft and vandalism in relation to library collections. That being said, the safety of staff is more important than any item in our collection. If an employee feels threatened or worried while addressing an act of theft and/or vandalism their top priority should be their own safety. Notify UPD immediately in any event of purposeful theft and/or vandalism in relation to collection items.
