Welcome international students! We have designed this guide to help you navigate the George A. Smathers Libraries (Smathers Libraries) and all the services we offer.

In "U.S. University Libraries", you will find a short overview of how academic libraries in the U.S. work and documents to help you understand and translate the specific vocabulary we use in the libraries.

In "Smathers Libraries", you will find an overview of each of the Smathers Libraries and what they offer.

"Navigating the Libraries" will help you get started with us, for off campus access, copying and printing. You will also learn about getting help and registering for workshops.

In "Finding Materials", you will get explanations about how to find resources, including books and e-books, non-English databases and foreign press, and select the languages you want.
