Library with collections dedicated to the Humanities and Social Sciences. Home of the Scott Nygren Scholars Studio and the One Button Studio.

  • Seating for approximately 1,400 patrons.
  • Eighteen study rooms can be checked out for group study.

Marston Science Library

24/7 Library which supports agriculture, engineering, mathematics, and the natural and physical sciences. Home of the MADE@UF collaboration space.

Latin American and Caribbean Collection

One of the leading research collections of its kind. Includes circulating collections, rare books, maps, and more.

  • The Latin American and Caribbean Collection (LACC) now holds approximately 500,000 volumes, over 50,000 microforms, a large collection of rare books and manuscripts, and a wealth of digital resources, many of them open access. 
  • Located on the third floor of the historic Smathers Library in the Department of Special and Area Studies Collections (SASC), the LACC is among a small number of academic research library collections in the United States devoted to collecting Latin American and Caribbean materials.  

Smathers Library

The oldest library on campus. Smathers Library houses the Grand Reading Room, Special & Area Studies Collections, Latin American & Caribbean Collection, and Map & Imagery Library.
