Introduction to the John Hann Digital Archive

The John H. Hann Collection of Colonial Records consists of the translations and transcriptions made by historian John Hann, research historian for the Mission San Luis Archaeological Park (Tallahassee), and author of Apalachee, the Land Between the Rivers (University of Florida Press / Florida Museum of Natural History, 1988), Missions to the Calusa (University of Florida Press / Florida Museum of Natural History, 1991), A History of the Timucua Indians and Missions (University of Florida Press, 1996) and other major works.  Portions of his translations and transcriptions from Spanish records are now available online.
