Keeping Zoom Secure:
Signing in to UFL-only Meetings
Depending on whether Zoom is running in the background or not, when a meeting is set to require UFL login, you may enter the meeting immediately, which happens now with many folks where Zoom has saved the password. Or, you may need to sign in using your Gatorlink.
If the screen below comes up, please select SSO (which stands for single sign-on):
Then, on the next screen, enter UFL:
You’ll either be prompted to sign-on with Gatorlink, or auto-logged in after this.
Please note that people signing in from phones will login with no additional steps.
We encourage folks to sign in early for meetings that require UFL sign in, and to call IT (273-2800) if there are any issues.
Please note: when using backgrounds with text, uncheck the box that says "mirror my video" or the text will appear backwards.
UF Zoom Names
When logged in for Zoom at UF, Zoom will often pull your Display Name (which can be different from your legal name) from the UF Directory.
