RDA Local Policies
- Attach holding to existing shared bib record, when available, even if record was cataloged according to an earlier code.
- Both sentence case and capitalization that matches the item are acceptable for the title field. Original catalogers should select the most efficient alternative.
- All name and series authorized access points included on FUG PCC RDA originals should represent RDA authorities. As needed, authority records should be revised and recoded to RDA.
- Additional attributes for authorized access points not needed to resolve a conflict may be added if readily available.
